Theme: perspectives, seeing the world as if it were the first time.
Objectives: developing the following skills: video understanding, looking at things in a different perspective, working with grammar (past tenses, adverbs and possessive pronouns).
1. Video: Strangers
What is the purpose of the experiment?
Did the kiss change people’s perspectives? How?
Activity: look at one of your friends as if it were the first time you were seeing him/her. Write a compliment about him/her (don’t focus on appearance, focus on what he/she makes you feel). Fold the piece of paper, write the name of your friend on the paper and hand it in to the teacher.
2. Video: Parkour
How does Parkour help people see the city in different ways?
Homework: developping a new perception about something you are used to seeing everyday (the way to school, something inside school, a park, people, anything you want). Write how you see this object, place or person differently now. Describe how the exercise made you feel.

Why was this verb tense used?
a)Because she is talking about a past that continues present in her life. The word “always” reinforces this idea. Also, there is no specific date in the past.
b)Because she is talking about a finished action in the past. The verb in the past, “found”, reinforces this idea.
c)Because an action started in the past and continues up to know, and it’s necessary to emphasize this continuity, therefore the use of “have been”, in present perfect continuos tense.
The words “truly”, “quietly”, “intently” have something in common. What is it?
a)They are adjectives, referring to nouns;
b)They are adverbs, referring to verbs or adjectives;
c)They are nouns.
